Fishbowl

By

I know how to be alone;
There isn’t any trick.
You just watch other peoples’ mouths move,
But no sound comes out.

I know how to be alone;
I can swim underwater.
Holding onto my breath, I drift sometimes,
Sometimes, when I feel tired.

I know how to be alone;
My head is a fishbowl.
The fish open and close their mouths,
But no sound comes out.
