By submitting work to Knee Brace Press, you affirm that you are the creator and copyright holder, or authorized to submit the work on behalf of all copyright holders

You grant Knee Brace Press a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish your work in its online magazine and in associated print or physical formats, including but not limited to print issues, anthologies, or compilations, and a perpetual archival right to display the published work on our website. Contributors will be notified if their work is selected for inclusion in a print or physical edition.

You retain full copyright to your work and may republish it elsewhere at any time. If your work is republished, we request (but do not require) acknowledgment of Knee Brace Press as the original publisher, where applicable.

If you wish to withdraw your submission prior to publication, you may do so by emailing editor@kneebracepress.com. Once a work has been published, removal requests are considered at the discretion of Knee Brace Press and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

By submitting, you confirm that your work is original and does not infringe upon any copyright, intellectual property, or third-party rights. If your submission is AI-assisted, you affirm that you have provided substantial human creative input and editing beyond simple AI-generated output.

You further affirm that your submission does not contain plagiarized material, defamatory content, or material that could reasonably give rise to legal action. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knee Brace Press, its editors, and affiliates from any claims, disputes, damages, or legal actions arising from your submission, including but not limited to claims of copyright infringement, defamation, or rights violations. Knee Brace Press assumes no legal responsibility for submitted content.

Knee Brace Press reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, formatting, and house style, and to decline any submission at its sole discretion.

At this time, Knee Brace Press does not offer monetary compensation for submissions. Accepted contributors receive publication, potential social media promotion, and inclusion in the Knee Brace Press literary community.

For submission withdrawals, please email editor@kneebracepress.com with “Submission Withdrawal Request” in the subject line. Post-publication removal requests may be considered but are not guaranteed.
